Yu holds a Master of Architecture and an MS in Architecture Design and Computation from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT), along with a BA in Architecture from the University of Hong Kong. Before relocating to the United States, she worked as an architect in Hong Kong, managing a range of projects from luxury residential and commercial towers to primary schools. Her international background offers a nuanced understanding of cultural perspectives and sharpens her ability to recognize the essential qualities of a great home.

Now settled in West Lafayette with her husband, a professor at Purdue University, and their young children, Yu has acquired a comprehensive understanding of the local housing market. Beyond real estate, she is deeply committed to her community, actively serving in her church, campus organizations, and neighborhood outreach efforts.
